New Work for Boston

Over the last month I've begun working on a series of paintings of Boston architecture for a hotel project.

The design team has been very specific about sizes, proportions, and subject matter, so I've had the unusual challenge of formatting my work according to specifications.

I hope that the client likes these first pieces. I'm feeling rather unsettled by not having met them face to face.

An uncharacteristic uncertainty.

First night nerves, as it were.

  1. I'm in love with the third painting, the red building. The curved windows fascinate me.

  2. Yes I agree, the red building is fascinating...It's the unusual angle I think and the effect it has on the form. They are all wonderful though - great start for a whopper of a commission... I look forward to seeing the others.
